Diatomatic
Proposal for Fishtown Recreation Center
This proposal derives its shapes and forms from diatoms. This was to be educational for the children playing in the water playground would have the shadows of the diatoms cast on their bodies and the ground. The proposal included educational panels explaining the importance of diatoms in the ecosystem. The piece was to be constructed of stainless steel water jet cut.
